Cleanings and Exams

Regular dental hygiene is checked and reinforced during cleaning appointments. This is vital for preventing gum disorders such as gingivitis or periodontitis. Regular periodic exams allow us to maintain a clear picture of the condition of your teeth and identify any potential problem areas.

Pediatric Dentistry

We work with little children to establish good dental habits and an oral healthy routine at home. The goals is keep all ones teeth for life. Occasionally, a child may need a filling or an extraction and we are able to keep both the patient and parents comfortable.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide, better known as “laughing gas” is offered to our patients as needed. Our goal is to make you comfortable while maintaining or improving your smile.

Sealants form a barrier against acid attacks by filling in the pits and grooves in a tooth. Resin is applied to the chewing surfaces of the permanent molars to prevent food and plaque from adhering to the tooth. Sealants may need to be replaced over time.

To repair minor tooth decay or fractures, we offer a range of filling options. Composite fillings are an aesthetic, durable option for restoring beauty and function to the teeth. Silver amalgam fillings are very long-lasting and a good option for strength.

A tooth extraction or removal may become necessary when a tooth has extreme damage, decay, or is causing pain. Before deciding on this procedure, Dr. Gong will talk with you to understand all your options.

Teeth Whitening

Whitening is an enhancement that allows people to enjoy brighter smiles. Custom whitening trays and prescription strength material is provided with attention to how it will interact with your unique oral health status.

Veneers are thin, tooth-colored custom prosthetics made to fit your individual teeth. They are used to change the shape, color, and fill in spaces between the teeth. Once they are bonded they will give you a brilliant, radiant smile.

Crowns are used to restore beauty and function to teeth that have been damaged or are weakened over time. Crowns provide more strength than a filling and are made out of the best materials available.

Periodontal (Gum) Treatment

Careful assessment is made of each patient’s periodontal health status.  For some patients, periodontal treatments are essential for long term retention of healthy teeth and gums.  We use anesthesia to make sure you are comfortable during periodontal procedures.

Root Canals

If a cavity is very deep, the bacteria may infect the nerve, causing pain and sometimes facial swelling. A root canal is the removal of the infected nerve tissue.

If you have one or more missing teeth, a bridge is one way to replace the space. A bridge is a fixed or cemented dental appliance. When placed, bridges restore function and beauty to your smile.

Dentures and Partials

One option to replace missing teeth is a removable denture or partial. Dr. Gong also offers implant-retained dentures. We would be happy to fully discuss your options regarding dentures, partials, and implant-retained dentures.

Dental Implants

Dental implants serve as a replacement of the root of the tooth and form a secure, stable foundation.  Dental implants are an excellent restorative choice.  Dr. Gong and her team understand the importance of helping you make decisions about restoring your mouth with this type of prosthetic.  We partner with specialists who together help to ensure your best possible smile.
